All competitions are open to girls who are under 18 on 1st January of each year
and belong to a club affiliated to CHLCGA – For more information and entry forms see Fixures List

Biddy Wade Trophy – Improvers Cup
Open to all girls who have a CONGU handicap

The FOUR best net scores taken from the player’s handicap record in the period 1st May to 30th April of the following year are returned to the County Junior Organiser by 24th May of each year.

The winner is the player with the best average net score against the actual SSS.
In the event of a tie, the trophy will be shared.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Alison Cunningham – Mansfield Cups
New format – inspired by Golf Sixes

Maximum entry 8, first come first served.  2 groups of four (seeded by handicap) will be created.

Group matches played on a round robin basis over 6 holes, 2 points for a win 1 for a half with holes up result recorded.

Handicap allowance 1/3 of difference rounded up.


A points table will be produced for each group with tied places decided in the following order:

  1. Head to head result
  2. Aggregate holes up score
  3. A nearest the pin shootout of no more than 50 yards as chosen by the     competition committee on the day

The top 2 players in each group will go forward to finals day and compete in a group under the same rules for the Alison Cunningham Trophy with the bottom 2 in each group playing for the Mansfield Salver.

Open to all girls  – no specific handicap requirements

Open to girls of all abilities from novice to those who are more experienced
• A variety of competitions will be organised on the Par 3 and 18 hole courses
• A skills competition

The Lesley Ford Trophy is presented to the player with the best net score in the 18 hole competition.
Lots of other prizes and a meal.

Junior Championship: Handicap limit plus to 25

• 36 holes singles stroke play
• Trophies presented for best gross score and best net score

Competitors can only win one trophy. The overall winner is eligible to enter the English County Champion of Champions tournament on Saturday 8th September at Frilford Heath.

Stableford Championship: Handicap limit 26 – 36

• 18 holes individual stableford
• Trophy presented for best stableford score

Par 3 or 9 hole Stableford Championship

• Handicap limit: club or county handicap 37 – 54

Open to all girls & adults with a CONGU handicap

• Pairs comprise of a junior and adult player(may be male or female and must be over 18)
• 18 hole greensomes stableford
• Ashman Trophy presented to the winning pair

Open to all girls in the Development Squad with a handicap of 30 and above

• 18 holes • Bourn Par 3
• Adrienne’ Trophy presented to the player with the best net score
